The Design Process
Initial Consultation
Our process begins with an on-site consultation. This crucial first meeting allows us to walk through your existing space and have a detailed discussion about the full scope of your project. We will explore your personal tastes, desired aesthetics, and specific functional needs to understand exactly what you envision for your new garden.
Following this, we will prepare a comprehensive Design Proposal outlining the project brief and our transparent fee structure for the design phase.
Site Survey
This process is the foundation of our design work, ensuring absolute accuracy.
We capture measurements of your garden and conduct an in-depth analysis of environmental factors, including:
• Soil Composition & Conditions
• Sun/Shade Patterns (Microclimates)
• Exposure to Wind and Elements
• Key Views and Sight lines
Design Plan
The next exciting step is seeing your vision take shape! Based on our detailed discussions, we create a preliminary design concept. At this stage. This concept is initially presented as a 2D Presentation Plan. Viewing the garden from above allows us to collaboratively review the flow, scale, and positioning of all major features, from seating areas to water features.
Bringing the Design to Life: 3D Visualisation - To help you fully visualise the impact and atmosphere of your new garden, we can provide detailed 3D Presentation Visuals. This is also the stage where we thoroughly discuss and finalise material selection (e.g., paving, decking, walls) and the proposed planting palette, focusing on suitability and aesthetic appeal.
Construction: In-House Construction and Seamless Execution
With the final plan approved, the exciting construction phase begins, executed entirely by our dedicated, in-house build team.

Soft Landscaping: Planting Installation
Once the hard landscaping is complete, we move to the most rewarding phase: bringing the garden to life through planting! It is a true joy watching the space transform and take on its own character as the planting scheme is expertly installed. As part of our end-to-end design and build service, we typically manage both the sourcing and professional installation of all plants specified, as well as any irrigation required for the plants.
